Joaquin grew up in the beautiful city of Austin, and he is an Austinite through and through. He went to O.Henry Middle School, Austin High School, and then the University of Texas. A die-hard sports fan growing up, one of his all-time favorite moments was Vince Young's touchdown to seal the national championship for the Longhorns over USC.
Before becoming a Realtor®, Joaquin was a sports broadcaster. He was on the news reporting and anchoring sports in Dalton, Georgia, and then Monroe, Louisiana. He moved back to Austin and worked for Time Warner Cable News for seven years, getting to cover everything from the NBA Finals to the World Series and the Super Bowl. During that time, Joaquin met his wonderful wife, Caroline. They have three daughters: Reese, Charlotte, and Josephine,
Joaquin has always been passionate about getting to know people, making them feel comfortable, and learning their stories, so he decided to get into real estate. He loves connecting with people daily and helping clients through every step of the home buying and selling process.
